How does it work?
The project officially starts after we discussed about your ideas and all preliminary questions, you approved the proposal and paid a deposit.
#1 Getting all together
You provide all existing resources (for example logo, images, text, testimonials…), your hosting login details (if you don’t have hosting yet I will help you through the set up process) and social media links.
#2 Style guide & website structure
I develop a style guide with colour, fonts and other elements like patterns or photo effects and define the navigation structure for your new website.
#3 Building your website
After we’ve agreed on the style guide and structure of the website, I set up the development environment and start building the homepage and the content pages. I also install plugins, forms, widgets and more delicious tech stuff 🙂
#4 Copywriting
Meanwhile, you will need to write the copy. I’ll provide some guidelines and if you need help I can direct you to a copywriter.
#5 Testing
After I put everything together I’ll test everything, fix what needs to be fixed and make some last-minute changes. I’ll provide a preview link so you can check it and finally go live!
#6 After care
After your website is live, you’ll get 1 hour training session that shows you how everything works so you can update it yourself. A 30 days of support by email is included in the package. I also offer ongoing monthly retainer packages.
